Hiiragi says that short, high-intensity exercises offer the same benefits as an hour-long exercise session.

Hiiragi affirmed that the Tabata exercise regime was inspired by the research of Japanese professor Izumi Tabata. This study helped him reduce 13g from 72kg to 59kg and reduce body fat to 18.2%.
